R.NO. 169 THE MAHARANA PRATAP CUP. FOR HORSES RATED 00- 26 (ABT 1200 MTS) ( 10 RUNNERS) Permission was granted to Trainer Mr.K.P.Singh to withdraw TACTIC (K.Narender Kumar) as it was lame on Left Fore .Trainer Mr.K.P.Singh was informed that he must not accept with his charge until passed fit by the Club’s Sr. Veterinary Officer. Approaching the 800 mts CHARG AWAY (Ramandeep Singh Bal) slow down its pace thereby BEACON LIGHT (Rajneet Singh) which was galloping directly behind clipped the heels of CHARG AWAY and stumbled unbalancing the rider. Jockey Ramandeep Singh Bal the rider of CHARG AWAY was fined Rs.2000/- for shifting in and causing interference to DIVINE THUNDER (Rajinder) approaching the 300 mts which had to be checked by its rider and again for shifting out and inconveniencing FIORELLA ( Pradeep Kumar) on his outside approaching 200 mts. App .Jockey Pradeep Kumar the rider of FIORELLA was fined Rs.1000/- for shifting in and causing interference to DAZZLING LIGHT (Shadab Khan ) on his inside approaching 200 meteres and again he was fined Rs.2000/- for coming in and tightening DIVINE THUNDER (Rajinder) approaching 100 metres which had to be checked by its rider thereby loosing some ground. App. Jockey Arun Kumar the rider of STRIKE IT RICH reported that his mount drifted wide out negotiating the bend inspite his best efforts to keep it on even course . Trainer Bharat T Singh was informed to take remedial measures and not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction Stipendiary Steward in one mock race on a race day. 2ND Race. R.NO.170 THE RAJIV GANDHI MEMORIAL CUP. FOR HORSES 3 YRS OLD ONLY)(ABT 1400 MTS) ( 08 RUNNERS) Jockey S A Shah the rider of GALLOP reported that his mount was trying to run out inspite of his best efforts to keep him on an even course. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s Sr. Veterinary Officer reported no abnormality. However, Trainer Mr.A Khan was informed to take corrective remedial measures before accepting with it again in a race. The Stipendiary Steward reported Jockey S Amjad Khan the rider of BREAKING MOULD to the Stewards for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race( 3rd offence during the meeting) . The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Jockey S Amjad Khan. After deliberation, and considering the recommendation of the Stipendiary Steward, they decided to suspend Jockey S Amjad Khan from riding in races from 16th February,2010 to 23rd February,2010 ( both days inclusive) for excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race. He was permitted to ride work during the period of his suspension. 3RD Race. R.NO.171 THE PRITHVIRAJ CHAUHAN CUP.DIV.I. FOR HORSES RATED 20 -46(ABT 1400 MTS) ( 09 RUNNERS) An objection was lodged by Jockey S Amjad Khan the rider SKYROS placed fourth by the Judge against App.Jockey Harkesh Kumar the rider of FEARLESSNEGOTIATOR placed third by the Judge for the alleged reason “ at about 250 mts FEARLESSNEGOTIATOR came on to him where he had to literally stop the horse due to which he lost a certain 3rd Place”. The Stewards held an inquiry immediately after the race, interviewed the Jockeys concerned and after deliberations, considering the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Steward and on their own observation of the race the Stewards could not be satisfied that an alteration to the placings could be justified, therefore they decided to overrule the objection and ordered the Security Deposit to be refunded. App. Jockey Harkesh Kumar the rider of FEARLESSNEGOTIATOR was fined Rs.2000/- for coming in and inconveniencing SKYROS (S Amjad Khan) approaching 250 mts. 4TH Race. R.NO.172 THE PRITHVIRAJ CHAUHAN CUP.DIV.II. FOR HORSES RATED 20 -46(ABT 1400 MTS) ( 09 RUNNERS) Trainer Magan Singh and Jockey Ramlal were questioned regarding the poor performance of RISING PRINCESS as compared to its last run in Race. No.129 THE NEW DELHI PLATE, horses rated 20-46 run on 22ND December,2009 when it was placed 2nd . The trainer stated that he could not offer no tangible explanations and he was also surprised at the poor performance of his charge. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s Sr. Veterinary Officer reported no apparent abnormality. However, Trainer Mr. Magan Singh was informed not to accept with his charge till he was confident of his charge capable of a better performance. FIDEL DEFENSOR (Naresh Kumar) was observed to be lame on Left Hind after the race, as recommended by the Club’s Sr. Veterinary Officer Trainer I.S.Parmar was informed he must not accept with it again till passed fit by the Club’s Sr. Veterinary Officer. 5TH Race. R.NO. 173 THE GLOBAL STUD FARM CUP. FOR HORSES RATED 60-86 (ABT 1600 MTS)(13 RUNNERS) Jockey Ranjeet Singh the rider of SUBROOS reported that approaching 800 mts he clipped the front runner TAKE A CHANCE (Riazuddin) and stumbled thereby unbalancing himself. App. Jockey Riazuddin the rider of TAKE A CHANCE was severely reprimanded for shifting out thereby inconveniencing BLUE LAGOON( D.K.Ashish) on his outside negotiating the final bend. 6TH Race .R.NO.174 THE SAM BAHADUR CUP.DIV.I.FOR HORSES RATED 00- 26 (ABT) 1000 MTS (8 RUNNERS) Jockey Kailash Kumar the rider of BLACK THUNDER after reaching the Starting Gates reported that he had severe cramps and was examined by the Club’s Medical Officer who certified him medically unfit to ride as such BLACK THUNDER was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s order.In consequence of BLACK THUNDER being withdrawn before coming under Starter’s order no deduction on win or place Bets was effected. Jockey Rajinder the rider of FLYBY was fined Rs.1000/- for dropping his hands before passing the winning post. FLYBY was impounded for Veterinary examination and the Club’s Sr. Veterinary Officer reported no apparent abnormality. 7TH Race .R.NO.175 THE SAM BAHADUR CUP.DIV.II.FOR HORSES RATED 00- 26 (ABT) 1000 MTS (9 RUNNERS) MAGICAL FAIRY ( Jai Parkash ) was slowly away thereby loosing sufficient grounds and driftited out negotiating the bend and the Jockey having difficulty in keeping it on a even course. In view of its behaviour Trainer H Ali Khan was informed to take remedial measures and not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction Stipendiary Steward in one mock race on a race day. On a request from the Jockey Naresh Kumar FIDEL DEFENSOR was examined by the Sr. Veterinary Officer at the Starting gates and certified fit to race was stalled. ASSERTIVE was slowly away 6th Race.
