SUPREME VICTORY,INDIAN BRIDE, FANAA,CHEVRON & SNIPER SHOT which were running for the first time was identified by the Club’s Sr. Veterinary Officer. Permission was granted to Trainer Mr Shafiq Khan to deputize for Trainer Mr. M.Ahsan for the day who was unable to attend the races. 1st Race. R.NO. 162 THE PRITHVI MISSILE PLT. FOR HORSES RATED 00- 26 (ABT 1600 MTS) ( 05 RUNNERS) POLISH BEAUTY (Jai Prakash) was not permitted to run as the owner had failed to settle her dues. An objection was lodged by Jockey Ranjeet Singh the rider of STAR SPARKLE placed second by the Judge against Jockey Rajinder Saini the rider of QUEEN OF SUN placed first on the alleged interference that ” for bumping boring and taking him out from 350 mts to the winning post due to which he was unable to ride out properly and that cost him a certain race”. The Stewards held an inquiry immediately after the race, interviewed the jockeys concerned and after deliberations, considering the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Steward and on the evidence it was evidence it was established that at approximately from 350 metres QUEEN OF SUN kept on shifting ground on the outside and bumped STAR SPARKLE on couple of occasions and the verdict being a neck, the Stewards felt in the circumstances an alteration of the placings could be justified and therefore resolved to uphold the objection and revised the order of placings as under:- STAR SPARKLE FIRST QUEEN OF SUN SECOND ENDLESS STRIDES THIRD ZUETINA FOURTH In view of the abnormal behaviour of QUEEN OF SUN trainer Mr. K.Ali Khan was informed to take corrective remedial measures before accepting with it again in a race. Jockey Pradeep Kumar the rider of ZUETINA was fined Rs.1000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the Race (1st offence during the meeting ) PERSIAN POWER (Sameer Khan) was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s Sr. Veterinary Officer reported that PERSIAN POWER had burst its blood vessel during the race. As per the calendar Notification the horse has been banned from racing for the stipulated period of 4 weeks (1st time bleeder). Trainer Mr. Richpal Singh was informed not to accept with it again until passed fit by the Club’s Veterinary Officer. 2ND Race. R.NO.163 THE SOUTHERN COMMAND PLT. FOR HORSES RATED 00- 26 (ABT 1100 MTS) ( 11 RUNNERS) Trainer Mr. S.P.Singh and App. Jockey Harkesh Kumar were questioned regarding the running and riding of SKYROS. The trainer stated that he had instructed his Jockey to sit 5/6th and do his best on entering the straight and he was satisfied with the handling of his charge by App. Jockey Harkesh Kumar. The Jockey confirming the trainers instructions stated he had ridden to the best of his ability. Not being satisfied with the explanations tendered by the trainer and the jockey concerned: (a) App.Jockey Harkesh Kumar was fined Rs.3000/- for not sufficiently preserving with his mount between 400 metres to the 200 metres of the race . (b) Caution Trainer Mr. S.P. Singh as to future running of his charges. Trainer Mr. Magan Singh and Jockey Ramlal were questioned regarding the running and riding RESILENCE. Trainer stated that: (a) the horse had came under his charge from Mumbai three months back (b) thereafter the horse was unsound which was under regular treatment by the Club’s Veterinary Officer (c) thereafter the horse was under regular work (d) He himself was shocked at the odds quoted as it is still a maiden and 5yrs old On questioning Jockey Ramlal stated that his mount was not responding to his urgings inspite of his best efforts. However trainer Mr. Magan Singh was informed not to accept with it untill he was confident of better performance from his charge. Jockey Ranjeet Singh the rider of BEACON LIGHT reported that his mount was hanging in the straight. Trainer Mr.Shafiq Khan deputizing for M.Ahsan was informed to take remedial measures before accepting with it in a race. Urine sample was taken from the winner ASHWA PRAGYA in the presence of Trainer Mr.R.S.Shekhawat and sent for Analytical test. 3RD Race. R.NO.164 THE GALLOPING ACRES STUD FARM CUP. FOR MAIDEN INDIAN HORSES 3 YEARS OLD ONLY (ABT 1000 MTS) ( 09 RUNNERS) LILLY (Ramlal) was very fractious behind the starting gates and refused to be stalled. In view of its behaviour it withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. Trainer Mr. Magan Singh was advised to give sufficient gate practice. PLAY IT SAFE (Pradeep Kumar) on the way to the starting gates behaved abnormally and hit the running rails. On a request from the Stipendiary Steward the horse was examined by the club’s Sr. Veterinary Officer who permitted the horse to race as such it was loaded into the starting gates. The Stipendiary Steward again requested the Sr. Veterinary Officer to re-examine the horse as such it was unloaded and the horse was examined which was certified to be Lame on Left Hind and had sustained a cut injury at Left Hind fetlock. In view of the above the horse was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s order on veterinary grounds.Trainer Mr. Deepak Kalra was informed that he must not to accept with his charge till passed fit by the Club’s Veterinary Officer. In consequence of LILLY & PLAY IT SAFE being withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders a deduction of 20% on win and 50% on place bets was effected. 4TH Race. R.NO. 165 THE INDIAN ARMY CUP.DIV.II. FOR HORSES RATED 40-66 (ABT 1200 MTS) (13 RUNNERS) An enquiry is being held into the running and riding DAZZLING WISE trained by Mr. Magan Singh and ridden by Jockey Sameer Khan. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the club’s Sr. Veterinary Officer certified apparently no abnormality. Urine sample was taken from the winner SARIR in the presence of Trainer Mr.Sangeet Charan and sent for Analytical test. 5TH Race .R.NO.166 THE INDIAN ARMY CUP.DIV.I.FOR HORSES RATED 40- 66 (ABT) 1200 MTS (13 RUNNERS) OPTIMIST (K. Narender Kumar ) was fractious inside the starting gates in the process the jockey was injured. The horse was unloaded and the jockey was examined by the club’s Medical Officer who certified him unfit to ride as such OPTIMIST was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s. Jockey Rajinder (RAPID FIRE ) was fined Rs.1000/- for shifting in and causing interference to BEATRICE(G S Shekhawat) which had to be checked by its rider thereby loosing sufficient ground. Jockey Gurpreet Singh the rider of GAME OF TALENT was fined Rs.3000/- for shifting out thereby bumping TAKING OVER (Sameer Khan) which was unbalanced BEATRICE ( G S Shekhawat) traveling directly behind had to be checked and shift ground on its inside. Jockey Shadab Khan the rider of EXOTIC STAR was fined Rs. 2000/- for coming and causing interference to RAPID FIRE (Rajinder) which in turn went in and caused interference to BEATRICE (G.S. Shekhawat) on its inside. Jockey D.K.Ashish the rider of TRUSTED FRIEND reported that he could not get a clear run approaching 500 mts due to crowding of the field. Jockey Chand Mohd the rider of YOURETHETOUCH was fined Rs.3000/- for failing to persevering soon after jumping out of the starting gates and for traveling wide throughout the race for no apparent reason. Jockey Gurpreet Singh the rider of GAME OF TALENT was fined Rs.3000/- for the excessive of the whip during the race on his mount.(2nd offence during the meeting) ASHWA PRABHA (M.Shahid) jumped out awkwardly and ran outwards. In consequence of OPTIMIST being withdrawn no deduction on win or place bets was effected. 6TH Race.R.NO.167 THE ARMY HEADQUARTERS PLT.DIV.I. FOR HORSES RATED 20 -46 (ABT 1200 MTS)( 13 RUNNERS) Jockey Rajinder was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the 5th race, hence permission was granted to Trainer Mr.H.A.Khan to substitute Jockey Rajinder Saini to ride REAL SCOTCH in place of Jockey Rajinder the declared rider. Jockey Ramlal the rider of ROMARIO was fined Rs.3000/- for checking his mount soon after jumping out of the starting gates and allowing his mount to drift out thereby traveling wide for no apparent reason. Jockey Nazim the rider of REAL SPEED was fined Rs.3000/- for not sufficiently persevering on his mount during the race. Jockey D K Ashish the rider of KATMAI reported that his mount starting drifted out under pressure after negotiating the bend inspite of his best efforts to keep on an even course. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s Sr. Veterinary Officer reported no apparent abnormality. Trainer Mr. Sangeet Charan was informed to take corrective remedial measures and not to accept with it again in a race until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Steward in one mock race on a race day. An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of ASHWA SHOURYA Trained by Mr. R. S Shekhawat and ridden by Jockey G S Shekhawat. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s Sr. Veterinary Officer reported no apparent abnormality . An enquiry is being held into the improved performance of FEARLESSNEGOTIATOR Trained by Mr A. Khan and ridden by Jockey S A Shah compared to its last run in race no 117 The Real Roman Plate Div II, horses rated 20 to 46 run on 15.12.2009 when ridden by jockey Kaushal Kumar it ran unplaced. Urine sample was taken from the winner FEARLESSNEGOTIATOR in the presence of Trainer Mr.A.Khan and sent for Analytical test. 7TH Race.R.NO.168 THE ARMY HEADQUARTERS PLT.DIV.II. FOR HORSES RATED 20 -46 (ABT 1200 MTS)( 13 RUNNERS) Jockey M.Shahid was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the 5th race, hence permission was granted to Trainer Mr.I.S.Parmar to substitute Jockey Ranjeet Singh to ride FIDEL DEFENSOR in place of Jockey M.Shahid the declared rider. Permission was granted to Trainer Mr.A.Khan to substitute Jockey S.Amjad Khan to ride REAL STRONG in place of Jockey Rajinder the declared rider. Jockey S A Shah the rider of DHRUPAD reported that his mount stumbled approaching 400 mts of the race. Urine sample was taken from the winner BHOOMI PUTRA in the presence of Trainer Mr.H.Ali Khan and sent for Analytical test. Sd/- R. RESILENCE was slowly away 3rd Race. While traveling towards the start. PLAY IT SAFE hit the rails and injured herself as such was withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starters orders. LILLY was fractious behind the gate refused to be stalled inspite of all efforts as such withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. Trainer Magan Singh was advised to give more gate practice and to be passed in a mock race to the satisfaction of the Starter. INDIAN BRIDE took lot of time to settle inside the gate. Trainer K Ali Khan was advised to give more Gate practice to the satisfaction of the Starter before accepting in a race. 4th Race. Jockey Sameer Khan (DAZZLING WISE) was fined Rs.500/- for his failure in checking his saddle on time due to which the race was delayed. The girth used on DAZZLING WISE was loose which was subsequently changed at the start. 5th Race After being stalled OPTIMIST was fractious reared up in the process injured Jockey K. Narender Kumar as such was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders . Trainer Magan Singh was advised to give more gate practice and to be passed in a mock race upto the satisfaction of the starter. 6th Race.
